"Devoted to Fine Art Landscape - Long Exposure and Open Space Photography."
This is my homage to my people of Coastal Ecotopia (Crescent City). A quiet town that is not caught up in the fast life or rat-race of the big city. Hence, the people here like to savor the moments, take things slow and take comfort doing activities in the forest, along the Pacific Ocean or the many stream and rivers because of their return value. With that in mind it was import to employ long shutter speeds in order to slow down and enjoy the scenery as do the locals. The constant movement of the ocean and skies captured with long shutter speed creates a dreamy surreal texture and an almost painted feeling. During this time I count the seconds as I meditate on things that are important to me; nature, my family, friends, and music. Normally when done I am refreshed and ready to do it all over again.
The "Muted World' is where one meditate and everything is just right. The elements within it are soft, not too bright or too loud, a place where you can feel, smell and taste the calmness around. Finally, being in it's presence you are available to either answer questions, relax in your own skin or reflect on things that comfort you.
